Wind powered systems generate electricity by using the power of the wind. The average household does not use that much energy and so their the needs mean that the wind turbine will significantly reduce their dependence on the traditional electricity supply.

The amount of electricity that is generated through a wind powered system varies on many different factors. The different factors include the wind, the size of the generator, and how the energy is being used.

Wind powered systems will provide you with around twenty percent of the electricity that you normally use. It is a highly cost effective way of generating electricity and supplying your energy needs. And there is the added advantage of knowing that you are doing your bit for the good of the planet.
