The Different Teeth Whitening Options

October 7th, 2009 No comments

It makes no difference how well you take care of your teeth or how perfectly you look after them, over time they will not be as white as they once where. People that don’t make regular visits to the dentist will have teeth that are worse. For teeth that are in bad condition, teeth whitening won’t be simple at all. In addition to being good for the teeth, whitening makes them look a lot better. In this article we’ll look at some of the available teeth whitening options.

There are a variety of teeth whitening options, but the three that are used most often are bleaching with a dentist, in home bleaching, or teeth whitening toothpastes or strips. Use of the whitening toothpastes or strips is the most hassle free and cost effective option available. All that needs to be done with these products is to brush the teeth with the whitening toothpaste or apply the whitening strips. Some of the best know brands on the market are Starbrite and Colgate Simply White, and the top strips are the Crest Whitestrips.

These toothpastes and strips shouldn’t be used for seriously damaged and yellow teeth, but rather only if you have minor yellowing and your teeth are still in good condition. Then there is another product called GoSmile that is slightly more expensive than the others, but does a wonderful job.

Another very effective teeth whitening option is bleaching by a dentist. The process usually requires two steps done on different days. The sessions usually take about two hours each which can result in a cost that is much higher that the other options. The big advantage to this method is the dentist will do a great job that is much better than the job of strips or toothpastes with results that are long lasting and stunning.

The bleaching by a dentist option is for those who have really bad teeth that have suffered years of neglect, for those who have the money and want an excellent job done on their teeth where they will never have to go back for touch ups. A dentist will do a great job the first time round and will leave no room for error.[youtube:a6cb5erd7aY;[link:Over the counter teeth whitening];http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6cb5erd7aY&feature=related]

Another of the teeth whitening options is the in home bleaching method. This is done when your purchase your own bleaching products. Many of these products can be purchased over the counter. The process requires the application of gel to the tooth and allowing it to set for a few seconds undisturbed before carrying on as usual.

Tooth whitening is a very straight forward and simple process with the only disadvantage being that you have to do it every day for a specific number of days. This will depend on the product you choose since they are not all the same when it comes to how long you use it and how much you use.

These are just a few of the teeth whitening options and products that are available for use.

Gardening – Your Gardening Hobby Can Save You Money

Whether done as a hobby or to help provide food, gardening can be an excellent way to realize a connection to the ground. Many who have been growing their own food for years speak about the benefits of knowing what is used on their plants as a way of being assured it is safe to eat, and are convinced that gardening provides the best tasting fruits and vegetables possible.

With no regard for the size of the garden, eating fresh home-made products can help supplement the grocery bill and learning to save the products for later consumption can help in keeping food bills in control through the rest of the year. Gardening tomatoes, as an example is a comparatively simple way to have fresh tomatoes for sandwiches when they arrive in season. Planting twelve or so tomato plants can offer enough to can for later use as well as turning into sauce for pasta and pizza.

In nearly each climate, there are fruit and veg that may be raised at some point across the growing season. In each part of the country there’ll be a variation of the gardening seasons and knowing what grows in which part of the year can be as straightforward as trip to the local library or by conducting a search on the net.

While only a few folks will spend hours on end attempting to grow veg simply for the excitement of it, many are finding it could be a unstressed way to spend some time in the outside looking after their plantings. A note of caution though , is that while gardening can be a laugh, once the crop is prepared to the picked, there needs to be some variety of plan as to what is going to be done with the product.

Making home-made spaghetti sauce can give you a great feeling of accomplishment once the job is done, but the time spent can be very labour intensive. When a person takes on the challenge of gardening, they have to have a plan for the end result. In many cases, most people will end up with more than they can possibly use themselves and instead of allowing it to rot on the vine, they donate the excess to food banks and other charities that can put the food to good use.

There are even some who look on gardening as nothing less than a pastime and a helpful way of passing their time who give everything they grow. Working for the advantage of others can make the time and work of gardening pay down in a different way.
