Awesome LEGO Building Blocks

The LEGO Group has been producing little plastic building blocks since the 1940′s. LEGO bricks were sold in Europe but have gone world wide since those days and have become extremely popular. LEGO boasts some of the most loyal fans of any product. LEGO bricks can be snapped together in different ways to create just about anything one can imagine and since they are all interlocking, even LEGO bricks from different LEGO systems, one has no limit as to how large a build can go. LEGO bricks are also very durable and can withstand years of enjoyment.

The LEGO Group does a great job of keeping fans interested in LEGO bricks by consistently releasing different LEGO systems revolving around new themes. Quite commonly, the LEGO Group creates and designs these systems by themselves but since 1999 LEGO has been creating systems around already licensed themes. One theme that was designed by the LEGO Group and is extremely popular is the Castle LEGO system. Castle LEGO sets are my favorite LEGO building system and are very diverse. The Castle LEGO theme may be the most popular theme that was designed by the LEGO Group.

One of my favorite LEGO systems is the Batman LEGO system. Batman LEGO sets use Batman characters and likenesses along with memorable movie moments to recreate popular Batman comic situations. One of the advantages of having an already established brand as a LEGO system is that the LEGO Group has the opportunity to expand on its already popular product into the other brand’s fan base. This helps build on the already impressive LEGO fan base and capitalize on a famous brand. The LEGO Group has used this new found popularity to create other products like Video Games and tee shirts. Such a circumstance would not have been available if it wasn’t for the increased popularity licensed brands bring to the table.

One of the big reasons fans love LEGO systems so much are the LEGO mini figures that come in most LEGO systems that are distributed by the LEGO Group. Minifigures are almost an industry in and of themselves with some being extremely collectible, depending on their availability. Mini Figures are so fun to LEGO fans because they come with many kinds of accessories and tools. Some of the more popular LEGO minifigures are from the Batman LEGO theme. The Batman LEGO mini figures are very fun and based on the Batman comics.

LEGO has done an amazing job of getting ready for huge growth and a big reason for that is their idea that only the best is good enough. That also happens to be their motto and an idea they have been pursuing since the beginning of the LEGO Group.
