This may help you decide the number of cameras you need and where you want your signal transmitted to. The receiver can be plugged into a TV, DVD or personal computer with a video capture for viewing.

The feature that attracts a lot of people is the infrared technology. The camera can see in the dark, even when you cannot. Most security breaches occur at night or over the weekends so an infrared camera may be just the thing to solve any security issues.

Private employers are using bullet cameras to monitor what there nanny does when they are not around. You can have the video feed transmit to your home computer and then send it to your PC at the office to get real time surveillance. Businesses are using them to not only watch customers but their employees as well. Especially if there is cash involved.

If you need outside security, you can get a weatherproof bullet camera. These go really well on top of buildings. Bullet cameras have found their way underwater. They can withstand the pressure up until 100 feet below the surface. So these cameras can withstand any rain, snow or extremely cold temperatures.

There are several other uses for these cameras that does not fall into the security category. Sports enthusiasts have been attaching these cameras onto their helmets or equipment to get that first person perspective. The captured images can be saved to share with friends or it can be used to critique performances. These cameras are even used for inspection of pipes and other conduit.
