What To Inspect On The Pre-Bonded Hair Extensions Before Buying Them

September 23rd, 2009 No comments

Pre bonded hair extensions are examples of extensions that can be used in artificial hair integration. Like other types, they are being attached to the natural hair. Their most prominent difference from others is that they have glued tips for attachment.

As with the other hair extensions, these were first used to hide hair loss or thinning of the hair. Today they are still used for this but they also are used now for styling hair. It is also faster and easier to style the hair so you have less wait time in the salons getting your hair styled.

Pre-bonded hair extensions can come in natural-human to synthetic hair in various lengths and choices of color. This gives you many options to select from and whichever hair type you have, you should be able to find an extension to fit your needs.

However, not every pre bonded extension is the best that you can get. To ensure that you can have the one that is truly the best, it would be a big help to inspect first the one that you intend to purchase. The following are the things that you have to keenly look into:

Texture – This basically speaks of the pattern of the extension that you will have to buy. It varies from being straight to curly. Usually the straightness or the curl of the extension depends on the brand. There are those classified as European straight hair, Asian straight hair, deep wave, spiral curls and soft and natural looking curls. The possibilities are just simply endless.

Quality with hair extensions means the kind of hair that the extensions are made from. They are made from either virgin or Remy hair. The term virgin hair means the hair has not had any altering done on it or coloring, while the term Remy hair means that it is all human hair and the strands are bunched together allowing the roots to be on the same end.

Color means which shade the extension comes in, more colors are available in extensions than regular human hair grows in. There are brown, black, and blonde hair extensions. Then there are those extensions that come in pink and blue for the people that dare to wear them.

Pricing will vary on extensions due to which kind of hair they are made from. The synthetically-based extensions usually are priced lower than the extensions made from human hair. For those that are on a budget the synthetic could be the choice for them.
