Fat Burning Food – The Top Three
One thing I have observed during all my time as a professional Nutrition specialist, is that people are very surprised when they find out what foods I would recommend for fat burning.
These foods, as well as being some of the tastiest foods available, are helpful in fighting against unwanted fat. They do a good job in the whole process of fat burning.
I won’t bore you by listing the usual healthy foods like vegetables ” everyone knows about these, right. (And fruit, of course). I want to show you some that are tasty, super healthy, and great for fat loss.
1. Egg yolks. And yes, I do mean eggs, which you may have heard some negative things about – how they give you cholesterol and contain fat. Well, they do indeed have cholesterol, but it’s the good type – they actually help to keep a good balance with fat. The free-range variety are the best ones to buy, because of their high omega-3 content.
Yolks of eggs are also a rich source of vitamins, as well as minerals and other trace nutrients. To give a complete list of these would take up a lot of space, maybe a full page. Suffice it to say that egg whites are not to be favoured instead of yolks!
So you may enjoy those eggs, knowing that you are assisting in the fat burning process. I’m glad that I don’t need to give up eggs – they’re one of my favorite foods!
2. Avocados ” Another example of a so-called fatty food which actually helps in burning fat! And they can be enjoyed with other foods ” they make everything creamier and tastier. And the avocado is packed with healthy fats as well as fiber and antioxidants. They are a good source of vitamins and minerals, and they help to control appetite and release the bodys fat-burning hormones.
3. Grass-fed beef ” Most of the beef you see in the grocery store is not from grass-fed cattle but from their less healthy, grain-fed relatives. You would be well advised to insist on the grass-fed type. This type, as well as being much tastier, has much higher ratios of omega-3 to omega-6 (we get too much of omega-6 anyway). The important fatty acids in the fight against belly fat are the omega-3 type.
Another plus with grass-fed beef,is that it contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). This is one of the “healthy fats”, and it helps to build muscle and burn fat.
So enjoy that beef and don’t listen to the nay-sayers, who would claim that it’s fatty food and should be avoided. You now know that the opposite is the case. Just make sure that it is the grass-fed variety, and you can’t go wrong.
